Hallmark Massage

Originally designed and launched in July 2006, the Hallmark Massage web site was redesigned and relaunched as a Textpattern-based site in December 2008.

Massage therapist Allison Whitchurch had recently qualifed in Sports and Remedial Massage and wanted to change the emphasis of her web site to reflect this. The design was refined from the original version and incorprated into the Textpattern content management system to make it easier for Allison to update the site as and when she needed to.

Given the area Allison works in and the possibility of ending up with potential visitors from Google search results who were after a different kind of service, it was important to make the design of the site as unambiguous as possible.

I advised Allison on how to improve her natural Google search ranking, which resulted in her site being one of the top sites on Google’s Map search for her chosen search terms.
